There is no doubt that Whittington Heath (described by Martin Hawtree as “classic golfing country”) is a club with character, the more you play the course, the more you wish to, and in the clubhouse you will find an atmosphere of friendliness so necessary to complete a perfect day.

Our superbly well-drained course is playable all year round. The trademark heather and gorse is tough enough to provide a challenge, but forgiving enough to offer no more than fair punishment. There is always a feeling of total fulfilment and satisfaction when the handicap golfer completes a sub-par round and when you get it right, you have every reason to feel pleased with yourself.

There’s always something to test your handicap. A narrow fairway to drive into; rough that might mean a sideways recovery; and greens with subtle borrows that could mean the difference between a birdie and a four-foot par saver.
