Waterlooville Golf Club near Portsmouth in Hampshire was founded in 1907 when a group of gentlemen met with the aim of forming a golf club in the area. Renowned for its friendly atmosphere and warm welcome the current course was designed by the great Sir Henry Cotton and is sure to be a fantastic experience for levels of golfer. We welcome visitors during the week (and at weekends subject to availability) to try it out.
The current 18 hole course at Waterlooville Golf Club was designed by the late Sir Henry Cotton but originally opened for play in 1907 as a 9 hole course.
This wonderful parkland course has had over £700,000 invested in it since 2007 to improve irrigation, bunkers, drainage and machinery etc, making golf playable all year round! Measuring up to 6550 yards, it is a fair and and enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities, with five par fives, five par threes and eight par fours.
Our main lounge is an ideal venue for weddings and private functions. With views across the golf course and space for up to 130 people, the lounge is perfect for whatever your celebration. The Committee room upstairs also provides the perfect space for more intimate events, such as meetings and training events.
