Sedbergh Golf Club is Cumbria’s ‘hidden gem’ and is quite simply a must player for any golfer visiting or travelling through Cumbria or the Yorkshire Dales. Set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside, and with the Howgill fells forming a magnificent backdrop, the picturesque course has been described by many as one of the most scenic and tranquil in the North of England.

The course is easily accessible being just 1 mile from the small market town of Sedbergh, 10 miles from Kendal and only 5 miles from the M6 motorway (Junction 37).

The par 70, 5913 yard course was professionally designed and constructed making the most of the naturally undulating parkland. With several tree lined holes and fairways crossing or adjacent to both the rivers Dee and Rawthey, the emphasis is placed on accuracy rather than distance. With well guarded greens (made to US PGA specification) and water features aplenty the course provides a test for golfers of all abilities.
