Mytton Fold Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the most scenic and enjoyable 18 hole golf courses in the heart of the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. The golf course is ideally situated between Blackburn and Clitheroe and just 20 minutes from Preston or Chorley and Burnley.
The course is set into the hillside with stunning views across the Ribble Valley. Opened by Kenny Dalglish in 1994 this 5860 yard course features expansive, undulating fairways, and a real variety of holes which represents a fair test for golfers of all standards and will likely require you to use every club in your bag to achieve the par of 70.
We are a very friendly club and organise midweek and weekend competitions throughout the year, our famous Sip it and Flip it Evening in mid-summer is great fun and more testing of drinking ability than golfing ability. For members the Algarve competitions can’t be missed as winners are taken to Portugal for some excellent golf and a sampling of Algarve cuisine and beverages.
Mytton Fold Golf Club boasts a thriving and successful Senior Section. The Seniors meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings each week at 9:30am and if you join them you are guaranteed a warm welcome, some healthy competition and a bit of banter before many of them enjoy lunch in the 19th.
