Machynys is a Nicklaus designed 7121 yard modern links golf course, Elemis Premier Spa, Gym and Health Club featuring first class food in Machynys Bar and Brasserie, complete with Golf Academy and Driving Range.
Since opening in 2005 Machynys has been privileged to have hosted an unprecedented 12 championships, including 2 R&A Open Championships and 4 Ryder Cup Wales LET Championships of Europe. The golf course has been recognised as an Open qualifying venue.
Machynys offers a friendly, professional welcome to all visitors who are encouraged to utilise its 5-star facilities, including MONKS HEALTH CLUB & PREMIER SPA, MACHYNYS BAR & BRASSERIE with its wrap around sun-deck, or the 20 bay ACADEMY and DRIVING RANGE not forgetting of course the world class NICKLAUS CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE.
Machynys is the youngest course ever to be awarded an R&A championship, a testament to its quality. But, whilst Machynys represents a true test for the lower handicapper it is still a thoroughly enjoyable course for the higher handicapper and a corporate and society treat.
Machynys Bar & Brasserie overlooks the scenic Nicklaus golf course and Carmarthenshire Bay with the beautiful Gower coastline beyond. We welcome visitors whether it’s for a snack and a drink in the lounge or on its wrap around sundeck.
