Founded in 1909, Loudoun Gowf Club, The only Gowf Club in the world, is situated on the A71 road in Galston in Ayrshire, Scotland. The first question usually asked about Loudoun Gowf Club is why “Gowf Club”? It would appear that the Gowf Field of Loudoun, so called as far back as records are available, was the private golf field of the Campbell family of Loudoun Castle and had been in existence from the early sixteenth century. Golf or “Gowf” (the old Scottish word for golf) has been played on these fields for over 400 years.
Loudoun Gowf Course, situated in the heart of Ayrshire is the World’s last remaining ‘Gowf Course’ for over 400 years.
Visiting parties must pre-book and bookings can be made by telephone. Credit card facilities are available for most cards. Please note that, because the course is a busy one, visitors are NOT allowed on a Saturday unless signed in by a member.

We are currently offering an all inclusive package of tea /coffee on arrival a round of Golf and two course high tea for £45. 36 hole package available with full catering for £60.
